Holiday Decor Revealed!

It’s finally here y’all - my holiday decor is revealed! I’m so excited to be sharing this with you. I absolutely love the holidays so I look forward to this each year. I typically don’t do as much as I’d like to decor wise living in an apartment but when I moved into my current apartment over a year ago, I made it a priority to make it feel like a home - and that I have done.

I opted for no tree this year for a multitude of reasons so greenery was the name of the game for my decor, eucalyptus being the star. You might not think of eucalyptus as a typical holiday greenery but I find it whimsical, soft and peaceful. And if you use fresh eucalyptus, your place will smell divine!

I stepped a bit outside of my neutral color scheme and added pops of red throughout the space. Splashes of red berries among the eucalyptus and white roses, candles and in a cozy plaid blanket. To my surprise, I absolutely love it! It makes the space feel so festive and welcoming without having that “cheesy” holiday feel IMO.

I also upped the cozy game with more pillows and a coordinating plaid blanket. Perfect for staying in for holiday movie nights. Having extra blankets around is always key so I like to keep a basket near by stocked with all the cozy vibes.

I loved these mini trees and wanted to create a sort of snow globe effect. So I used some smaller vases I had on hand, flipped them upside down over the trees and added some fake snow on the bottom [yes, I have a bag of fake snow in my storage closet…no shame in my holiday game].

I’ll be doing a separate post on the tablescape I created so stay tuned for that. I included a few general shots so you could see the tie-ins with my overall decor but will include all the details in that post [PS - post is coming on Tuesday!].

And that my friends is my 2018 holiday decor reveal! Links for everything are below [tablescape items will be in Tuesday’s post] plus A TON more photos. I’d love to know what you think! Share below in the comments!
