Sunday Stacks // Week 3

After an unexpected week off, we are back with another week of #TLSWSundayStacks! WOOHOOOO!!! And don't worry, I've still been having my fair share of pancakes...just not documented here or on the Insta-world [shocking, right?!]. I'm going to start adding a new feature to my Sunday Stacks series where I recap my blog posts from the previous week in case you missed anything. This will also help make sure I'm posting blog content more consistently...a win win! Would love your feedback on this! And/or if you think there would be a better way to recap!

This week I'm diving into almond butter chocolate banana pancakes and oh my gosh are they drool worthy!! I used my go-to Kodiak Cakes protein packed buttermilk pancake mix with The New Barn unsweetened almond milk, another go-to. Layered them with dark chocolate chunks, sliced banana, drizzle of almond butter and topped it all off with some Purely Elizabeth dark chocolate sea salt granola. These are heavenly my friends!!! It's almost like dessert for breakfast and I don't hate it one bit! So...without further ado, week 3 of #TLSWSundayStacks!

PREVIOUSLY ON THE BLOG
Thing have been a bit slow here in blog land but in case you missed it, I recently shared...

YOU'RE AN EVENT PLANNER?!
Yes, yes, yes! I know I've briefly talked about my job here on the blog and try to show as much BTS as I can on stories at events, but I've never really talked about the specifics of my job and what I do on a daily/weekly basis. Long story short, I do events and consumer marketing for Philadelphia magazine. I've been there for almost a year now and have learned more than I ever thought possible! There are three [3] of us on the team and we split the events up as evenly as possible in certain categories so that the sales and client services team have a recurring point-person for events their clients are associated with. I mainly work on Philadelphia Wedding and Be Well Philly events as the point person/event manager. I also work on various third-party related events [ie: most recently Honda at the Auto Show for example if you've seen my stories]. I also assist with all other events in various capacity mainly with restaurant/vendor communication, collecting/distributing paperwork, beneficiaries, etc. I also work on event recaps for all events, both internally and in-book, along with surveys for attendees and vendors/sponsors. Our team manages @phillymagevents so I help contribute content on a weekly basis and at events. Would you be interested in a separate blog post on what I do in more detail and sort of my career path/how I got where I am today?

WHAT IS THE MOTIVATION BEHIND YOUR ACCOUNT // HOW DID YOU GET STARTED
I have been getting this question A TON lately!! I'm not sure if my recent re-brand has anything to do with it but I love this question. My blog has changed significantly from when it first started and I have learned an incredible amount since the early days. I'm afraid if I try to answer these questions here for #TLSWSundayStacks, I'll try to keep it short instead of really sharing the details that I feel it deserves. So, more on this coming but I did want to get the questions up here...stay tuned!

IS IT TOO LATE TO JOIN #TLSWBOOKCLUB
It is never too late!!! And the more the merrier! The first book in the series we are reading is Option B by Sheryl Sandberg. The book is incredible and I am already halfway through the book...I can't put it down! We're reading this book through the month of February and at the end of the month, I will be doing a blog post recap on my thoughts and what stood out to me most. If you're in the Philly area, I received so much interest on a Philly meetup...so I think that is a must! I'm also thinking of doing an Instagram Live either at the Philly meetup or separately after the blog post is up so I can chat with even more of you! Comment below and let me know what you prefer!

A short week in the world of #TLSWSundayStacks but the series is back! Don't forget to send me your questions via DM or leave a comment on any of my recent posts. Cheers to another great week ahead!
