A Classic Shirt Dress Styled 3 Ways
The moment I saw this shirt dress I knew that I had to have it. The beautiful burgundy color sold me, and I love the classic style with a touch of vintage flare. I originally shared this in my Target Haul Vol. 2 and it has been a go-to piece since. It’s only $28 so it is super affordable yet very high quality. The shirt dress runs TTS; I’m wearing an XS.
This shirt dress can easily go from the office to date night so the styling options are endless. I might sound like a broken record but finding multiple ways to wear and style something in my wardrobe is my new favorite thing! Keep scrolling to see how I styled this classic shirt dress 3 different ways. Be sure to comment with your favorite look!
CLASSICALLY SIMPLISTIC
This shirt dress speaks for itself so I kept things super simple and minimilistic for this first look. I simply paired it with my favorite go-to nude heels and a trendy Eliza May Rose crossbody bag. This look is perfect for the office, for church, for teachers, for weekend brunch and will even be great for the holiday season.
FALL DATE NIGHT / GIRLS NIGHT OUT
I love how just a few simple pieces take this shirt dress from classic to edgy! A leather jacket is a fall staple and this faux leather jacket from Target gets worn on repeat. It’s amazing quality for the price at only $35! Seriously, it’s only $35 - you can’t beat that! Added some black suede booties [old but similar here and here] to tie in with the leather jacket and you’ve got the perfect date night or girls night out look.
LAYERED FOR THE OFFICE
The cooler fall temps mean it’s time for all of the layers! Plus every office is constantly cold so layers are a must. I simply paired the shirt dress with this colorblock cardigan and another pair of my go-to nude heels. I shared this colorblock cardigan before in my Target Haul Vol. 2 post and earlier this week in a post on 3 cozy cardigans you’ll be living in this fall…so you know it’s a good one! It’s incredibly soft and the perfect affordable Madwell dupe.
