5 Festive Nail Colors for the Holidays

5 Festive Nail Colors for the Holidays -- The Life She Wanders

There is nothing that makes me feel more like I have my life together than having my nails done. Anyone else with me?! With the holiday season in full force and holiday parties filling up the calendar, I’ve rounded up 5 of my favorite festive nail colors to get you through the holiday season - there’s a little something for everyone!

ESSIE BERRY NAUGHTY | I’ve been loving this color this holiday season! It’s the perfect combination for those who don’t want a black nail, but also don’t want a bright red nail. It is such a versatile color and will go perfectly with any holiday outfit!

OPI CIA = COLOR IS AWESOME | jewel tones are everywhere you look in fashion and ever-popular this holiday season. So why not continue that trend to your nails! I’ve been loving this teal jewel-toned nail polish a lot lately! It’s the perfect amount of color without being too bright for the winter months. It’s such a versatile color, too, and can easily be dressed up or dressed down.

ESSIE MARSHMALLOW | they say no white after Labor Day but I totally disagree! There is something so calming and peaceful about winter whites. I typically 99.9% of the time have my toes painted white but around the holidays I love to use it for a manicure as well. It’s almost like snow!

OPI RED | because it wouldn’t be a festive nail color round-up if it didn’t include red! Most of the year I find red nails to be very overpowering but around the holidays, there is something so classic about a red manicure. It’s festive, classy and full of cheer. I love this this is a pure red [hence the name] so there is no teetering towards orange or purple with this shade, it is the most perfect red!

ESSIE SEEING STARS | I included this in my fall nail color round-up and had to bring it back for the holidays! It is a deep copper color that has a classy sheen and “sparkle” to it. The copper color makes it a neutral but the sheen adds that festive holiday touch.

And as always, don’t forget to use your favorite top coat or gel top coat to give your at-home mani that salon finishing touch look! I also suggest a base coat, especially with these deeper tones…no one wants stained nails! Do you have a favorite nail color for the holidays? Share below in the comments!
