It’s day 4 of Gift Guide week and this might be my favorite gift guide of them all! I’ve always love home decor and the process of decorating a space has always been a passion of mine. 80% of the items on this list I own and love so much, while the other 20% are high on my wishlist this year! I love finding great quality yet affordable pieces to outfit my home and this list is full of that!
First up on the list is one of my favorite go-to kitchen items. I received this KitchenAid Professional 600 Series Stand Mixer for Christmas a couple of years ago and it is absolutely amazing!! I love how sleek it is so it’s great to leave out on your counter. I’ve made everything from chocolate chip cookies to turkey meatballs and beyond with this stand mixer and it does not disappoint one bit! If you’ve been thinking of getting one or know someone who has, go for it!
I’ve shared this next gift idea a couple of times already but that’s because it is that good! The Pottery Barn Faux Fur Ruched Throw is what all cozy dreams are made of. It is so incredibly soft and perfect as a blanket on your couch or bed. I got this as a gift a couple of years ago and literally sleep with it every single night!
I’ve been wanting a new accent chair for quite some time now and when I first saw this in store at Target, it was love at first sight! This Project 62 Peoria Wood + Faux Leather Arm Chair is absolutely stunning! It’s a great dupe of the popular Room & Board chair but at an incredibly affordable price. I love the combination of the darker wood tone with the warm black faux leather. It also comes in the same wood tone but with a lighter tan fabric combination that is gorgeous, too. Adding this to my cart ASAP!
I always struggle with finding the perfect lamp; it’s something about the lamp shades that I get stuck on. Thankfully when I found this Project 62 Devalan Tripod Table Lamp last year I knew it was the perfect fit for my bedroom. I think every space should have some touch of black to it so this was the perfect piece to add on top of my dresser. The gold accents also give it a bit of glam, too.
Calling all wine lovers, this next gift is for you! I received this West Elm Lacquer Wine Rack as a gift years and years ago and it has survived many moves and endless bottles of wine! I love how simplistic yet chic the white lacquer finish is, making it such a versatile piece for nearly any design style.
Now if you love wine and get a new wine rack, new wine glasses are a must! I absolutely love the style of these West Elm Horizon Stemware. It’s almost a modular shape that’s so chic, modern and timeless. They are available to be purchased by the individual glass or you can purchase sets of 4 per style. This would make a great gift for any wine lover in your life…or yourself!
One home piece I get a lot of questions on over the years is the gold tray that’s on my coffee table. I got it from Target years and years ago so sadly it’s no longer available. The good news is, this West Elm Round Lacquer Tray is the exact same thing and only $27! It’s also available in silver lacquer and white lacquer. The white is great for everyday use but I love the pop of gold [or silver] throughout the holidays. It’s the perfect pop without being overboard or cheesy.
I love smoothies. In fact, my dad and I have this “smoothie Tuesday” tradition where we have blueberry-almond butter smoothies for dinner every Tuesday. Weird…maybe…but we love the simple tradition. We both use and love the Ninja Professional Blender. It has blades all up the middle spine so it blends everything so silky smooth. I’ve had mine for a couple of years and it holds up so incredibly well!
Letter boards are going no where fast and I just love the simplicity of this Magnolia Wooden Letter Board. The black letters/numbers are simple and classic, perfect for nearly every design style. This would be great in a home office, kids room/playroom, kitchen…basically anywhere! Use it for motivational quotes, birthday wishes, tonight’s dinner menu - the possibilities are endless.
Last but certainly not least is this Project 62 Tufted Fleece Rug. I have this rug for my living room in the white/cream and grey combination and love it! It comes in a few other color combinations [I also love the white/cream and black combo] and also multiple size options. I have it in the 7’x10’ size and it’s the perfect fit!
So there you have it, the ultimate 2019 Gift Guide for the Home! If you have any must-have gift suggestions let me know and I’ll add them to a bonus section at the bottom of this post. Happy holidays!
