Target Haul Vol. 5: Spring Workwear & Business Casual Style
The first Target Haul of 2020 is here! I’m glad y’all share the same love [okay, obsession] with Target that I do. I truly love putting together these hauls to share my favorite fashion finds. They were some of the top blog posts of 2019 so it was a no brainer that the series was going to continue in 2020.
I recently went to Target in search of some spring workwear pieces and was extremely impressed with all of the options! Even though we are still in the heart of winter, seeing all of the pastel colors, floral patterns and lighter fabrics made me so excited for the warmer weather to come along.
I found a great mix of both workwear and business casual pieces that you can easily incorporate into your everyday wardrobe outside of the office. There’s a little something for everyone in this Target haul, from a $12 statement tee to the most versatile sweater dress and pops of spring patterns.
I can’t wait for you to see the over 20 workwear and business casual outfits I put together. So without further ado, let’s take a look at Target Haul Vol. 5!
OUTFIT #1: SLEEVELESS SWEATER DRESS
The moment I saw this sleeveless sweater dress hanging on the rack, I knew it was going to be a favorite! The fabric is incredibly soft and luxurious making it extremely comfortable. This is such an incredibly versatile piece to have in your wardrobe and I cannot wait to style this. So much so, that I have a blog post coming in the next week or so showing multiple ways to style this so stay tuned!

OUTFIT #2: ABSTRACT FLORAL PATTERNED DRESS
If this dress doesn’t scream spring, I don’t know what does! I just love the colors of the abstract floral/leaf print. It gives the dress a pop in a subtle yet business-appropriate way. It comes with a tie waist that helps add some shape to it. It has functional buttons and the cuff of the sleeves has buttons so you could easily roll the sleeves for a more relaxed look.

OUTFIT #3: WHITE PATTERNED MIDI DRESS
I’ll be honest, this dress is a little out of my comfort zone but I think that’s what made me love it so much! It’s a super lightweight cotton fabric [but don’t worry, it’s not see-through] with this fun “paint splatter” pattern all over it. The shoulders have a slight poof to them which adds a bit of sass and class to the dress. It has an elastic waist so you can easily wear it alone or pair it with a belt like I did in the 3rd photo [just wouldn’t recommend the animal print but it’s all I had lol]. This would be great for the office or even a spring wedding!
White Patterned Midi Dress - size: XS
OUTFIT #4: ANIMAL PRINT MIDI DRESS
If you loved the white patterned dress then you’ll definitely love it in this animal print! It is exactly the same dress so extremely comfortable and the fun poof shoulders. Again, it has an elastic waist so you could wear alone or pair with a belt [also don’t suggest the animal print belt but alas, all I had]. The perfect dress to go from the office to date night, and would be great for Valentine’s Day.

OUTFIT #5: FLORAL PRINT FLUTTER SLEEVE MAXI DRESS
This is hands down without a doubt my absolute favorite piece from this Target haul! This maxi dress is just gorgeous!! From the office to date night or even a wedding, you will get so much use out of this dress. The chiffon top layer adds such beautiful movement to the dress and the flutter sleeves add the perfect feminine touch. It clasps in the front and has a coordinating small tie waist. If I could wear this dress every single day, I 10000% would! This is a must-have!

OUTFIT #6: TIE-WAIST JUMPSUIT
This is another top favorite from this haul! If you’ve been on the hunt for a black jumpsuit, stop what you’re doing and get this one! It is extremely comfortable, has a tie-waist and best of all…pockets! This can easily be styled in so many different ways from the office with heels and blazer, to weekend errands with slip on sneakers and a jean jacket. Another piece that you will get endless use out of!

OUTFIT #7: PATTERNED SLEEVELESS BLOUSE + BLUE DRESS PANTS
If you work in a professional office environment, this outfit will be perfect for you! This patterened blouse is the most beautiful shades of blue, white and green making it the perfect pairing with these blue dress pants. The pattern on the top is the same as the white midi dress from above. You can easily add a blazer or cardigan with this if your office is cold or to cover your shoulders.

OUTFIT #8: LAVENDER WAFFLE KNIT SWEATER + BLUE DRESS PANTS
Let’s be honest, as much as we all want spring to be here it is still the dead of winter so sweater season is very much a real thing. That’s why I love this lavender sweater. You still get that pop of spring from the color but the warmth of a cozy winter sweater. Simply paired it here with the blue dress pants, but you could easily pair it with jeans, a skirt or leggings for a cozy athleisure look.

This another great outfit for a very business professional work environment, just add a classic blazer! This black & white patterned blouse is very lightweight so it’s perfect for layering and will be great when the warm weather comes along. It’s a very versatile piece, too, and can easily be dressed down with denim.

Remember the lavender sweater from above? This is the same sweater but in white…and every girl needs a white sweater in her wardrobe! This is such a classic an simple style that will be perfect for any work environment. You can easily add some pops to it with statement earrings or a necklace, and it perfectly pairs with a structured blazer.

OUTFIT #11: SHORT SLEEVE V-NECK TEE + BLUE DRESS PANTS
You know my love for Target’s basic long sleeve v-neck tees so it goes without saying my love runs deep for their short sleeve v-neck tees! They are incredible soft fabric that isn’t flimsy or see-through. They are available in nearly every color possible but I loved the simplicity of this oatmeal and white striped paired with the blue pants. I will definitely be stocking up on this tee in alllll the colors!

I’m not usually a huge graphic tee type of person but the moment I saw this I knew I had to have it! Plus, you know it’s a good purchase when you’ve basically been living in it the past week…guilty as charged! This “Make Your Mark” tee is the perfect addition to your wardrobe and something you’ll be able to pair with dress pants and a blazer, jeans and a leather jacket, and even leggings, sneakers and a cardigan. The best part is, it’s only $12!!!

OUTFIT #13: MAKE YOUR MARK TEE + PAPER BAG DRESS PANTS
How fun is this look?! Paired my new favorite graphic tee with these super comfy paper bag olive dress pants for a fun yet work appropriate way to do business casual. These pants are slightly oversized so it’s like wearing work appropriate sweatpants…can’t be that! They come in a few other colors and prints so there’s a little something for everyone.

OUTFIT #14: BLACK & WHITE SHORT SLEEVE BLOUSE + PAPER BAG DRESS PANTS
You all know I love mixing and matching pieces from my wardrobe to create new looks so I’m pairing that black and white short sleeve blouse from earlier with these paper bag olive dress pants. This is a little bit more trendy of an office look than paired with the blue dress pants. Olive is a great neutral to have in your wardrobe but it still adds a pop to any look.

OUTFIT #14: PATTERNED SLEEVELESS BLOUSE + PAPER BAG DRESS PANTS
The mixing and matching continues and this time I paired the beautiful sleeveless blouse with the fun paper bag dress pants. Though the blouse has mainly blue tones, I love that the hints of green are pulled out when paired with these olive dress pants. It’s a classic and fun look that definitely says spring!

OUTFIT #15: PATTERNED SLEEVELESS BLOUSE, BELT BACK CARDIGAN + JEANS
We’re diving into more business casual looks but the mixing and matching continues! Keeping on with this beautiful sleeveless blouse, paired it simply with this oatmeal belt back cardigan and jeans. This cardigan is perfect for spring! Very light weight but will still keep you warm in those freezing cold offices, and I love the belt back detail. It gives it a little something extra than a typical cardigan.

Doesn’t this look just scream spring?! I’m typically not a pink person and to be quite honest don’t think it’s my color but I was drawn to this cardigan so I gave it a try…and surprisingly loved it! This cardigan is a little more light weight than the tan one above so if you’re looking for a light layering piece, this is for you. It comes in a ton of other colors and neutrals so if you’re not a pink person, there are lots of other options!

If you’re looking for cozy winter and spring vibes combined, this is for you. I love the lavender and blue shades, yet it’s still neutral enough to pair with a multitude of things in your wardrobe.
