Hey y’all, I’m back…yet again! As you may have noticed, I took a step back in the month of March and didn’t share any new content here on the blog and kept Instagram content to a bare minimum. I’ve eluded to life changes for a while and some of those are ramping up a bit. I’m still focusing on my concussion recovery as well and it was best for me to just take some time for myself.
Read MoreJust like that, another month of 2019 is in the books. And what a month it was! I feel like so many things happened, so many emotions were flowing, so many decisions were to be made and so on. February certainly flew by much faster than January did. Here’s a look at what the month of February brought!
Read MoreI AM THIRTY. I repeat: I AM THIRTY. I never thought I would have a single ounce of excitement or happiness when I turned thirty but y’all, I’m ready to say goodbye to my twenties. I always thought I would have life figured out by the time I turned thirty but that most certainly is not the case. I’ve learned that we are always figuring life out, wandering through each day. There is no prize for figuring out life fast and having all your ducks in a row the best; it’s about enjoying the journey and learning from each and every up and down life brings.
Read MoreI thought it would be fun to start a new series of monthly recaps to highlight everything that was covered on the blog and touch on some key things that happened throughout the month. With the year winding down, I decided to reflect on all these roller coaster moments and put together a list of 18 takeaways from 2018.
Read MoreAge...it's just a number, they said. It's just another year older, they said. It's another year wiser, they said. Every year my birthday has come around I've been excited to be another year older and another year wiser. But this year, as twenty-nine has arrived and thirty is knocking on the door, there is a much different feeling inside of me. It's a flood of feelings that I'm not used to and don't know how to handle. I feel nervous, scared, upset and like I've failed. I think most of us as we are younger start to envision what our lives will be like in the future. What happens when reality is not what you envisioned as a little girl? That's my current situation.
Read MoreHappy Sunday friends! I first want to say THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart for all your love and support with the launch of The Life She Wanders. It truly means more than I will ever be able to put into words. This was a big transition from my previous "food blogger" days but it is insanely refreshing to be posting content I truly have a passion and interest in. With that, let's get into week 2 of my #TLSWsundaystacks series!
